Now that is dedication to your Halloween costume
Halloween is coming up soon and we would like to share a few green costume ideas.
1. Green Business: everyone claims that their business practices are “green” or “ecofriendly” these days, so why not physically embody the green business?
All you need for this one is to head to the local second-hand shop and find an all green suit. Maybe a recycling can or reusable water bottle as an accessory?
2. Create a superhero costume out of reusable shopping bags (for the cape) green tights and a recycled or hemp t-shirt. To add a girlie flourish bring a wand and you can zap those candy wrappers into flowers all evening!
3. A tree-hugger. Take some old cardboard boxes and cut and tape them back together in the shape of a hexagon then have fun with the paint. Add a little hole with a toy squirrel tapped inside. Then be inventive with your clothes, dress up as a hippie, or maybe just your normal casual clothes, depending… Great outfit if you are worried about keeping warm as you’re traipsing around the neighborhood or from bar to bar.
4. If you’re going out in a group, dress up as Captain Planet and his faithful gang. Don’t forget your big rings that allow your powers to combine! Here’s a picture, justv in case you’d forgotten what they look like.
